View The action of UGIULA should allow in the short term to assist researchers, research centers and all those involved in the research task in actions aimed at guiding their work within the best contractual and legal conditions available; To provide cooperation for the legal registration of the intellectual production generated by the research; To cooperate in the search of sources of public or private financing; And to resolve doubts in the interpretation of legal texts and, possibly contractual, that regulate the research activity. The performance of the University of Los Andes’ Intangible Unit should enable it to be recognized at regional, national and international level as a specialized technical unit in the management of intellectual property rights of the University of Los Andes.
